Plant height is 250–280 cm, ear insertion height is 80–90 cm. The ear is cone-cylindrical in shape, 23–26 cm long, and contains 12–14 rows of yellow dent-like grains with a red cob. The thousand kernel weight is 260–280 g, grain output upon threshing is about 81%.
The grain contains 72.3% starch and 8.7% protein. Plants do not tiller; about 14 leaves are formed on the main stem. The hybrid has high resistance to lodging, diseases, and pests, as well as drought tolerance. It is adapted for cultivation in the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissia zones with varying stand densities.
