The SDM95 line is not a variety in the broad sense and is used in breeding as source material. On the basis of this line, in particular its derivative SDM95-30, the creation of hybrids adapted to the conditions of the Northern Steppe of Ukraine is being carried out.
Scientific data note a high combining ability of the material; however, morphological characteristics, such as plant height or maturity group, are absent in open publications due to the specialized purpose of the line.
