The early-maturing maize hybrid Siliciana (LS Siliciana) belongs to the FAO 170 maturity group and is characterized by a growing season of approximately 118 days. The hybrid is a double cross and has a semi-flint grain type.
The plants reach a height of 210–220 cm with an ear placement height of 65–66 cm. The ears are 25–27 cm long. The hybrid is noted for its lodging resistance, cold tolerance, ability to withstand drought, as well as high soil acidity and excessive moisture.
The maize is characterized by rapid moisture release during maturation. Grain yield at 18.2% moisture averages 75.4 c/ha, reaching maximum values of 87.1 c/ha.
