The maize hybrid Sulexa belongs to the early-maturing group. In the official German variety classification system, it has maturity ratings of S 200 for silage use and K 220 for grain use.
The primary intended use of the variety is silage production. The hybrid is included in the official descriptive variety lists of Germany, and its agronomic characteristics, including resistance indicators, underwent state variety trials from 2013 to 2016.
