The variety is characterized by outstanding grain yield potential, for which it was assigned the highest score during registration. Under favorable growing conditions, the hybrid forms a wide cob tip, which in the agricultural community has been designated as "Hammerkolben" (hammer cob).
This hybrid is used in agricultural production and is often applied in scientific research as an object for studying plant physiology, in particular questions of magnesium nutrition and enzyme activity in leaves. In technical documentation, the variety is also designated as SUSANN S260 K280.
