The maize hybrid Zenit is a product of the breeding program of the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops in Novi Sad. There is no information in official sources regarding its affiliation with the breeding of the company KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA.
In scientific publications, this hybrid is used as a control sample in studies aimed at investigating resistance to mycotoxins and analyzing the effect of plant density on yield.
