State Register of Ukraine: July reconciliation
The first full data upload has been completed: 1,213,969 registry entries from 29 jurisdictions have been consolidated into 337,387 variety cards.
The directory has uploaded data from official registers and catalogs and consolidated them into unified cards: one card — one variety, including all jurisdictions where it is registered.
What has been uploaded
1,213,969 registry entries have been converted into 337,387 variety cards. The difference represents the exact purpose for which this directory was created: one variety is listed in registers as several independent rows, one row per jurisdiction.
52,060 varieties are registered in more than one country. In official registers, this can only be seen manually by comparing lists with each other.
Ukrainian data
55,100 records of admission and plant breeders' rights have been uploaded from the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine. These are consolidated with European ones: if a variety is present in both the Ukrainian register and the Common Catalogue, it is one card with two jurisdictions, rather than two separate records.
What is shown and what is not
Jurisdictions whose publications allow data reuse — 29 countries — are shown by name. Entries from others are included in the counts but listed in summary form: we do not publish data for which we do not have rights. Read more on the "About the data" page.
