Variety description

The plant reaches a height of up to 6 meters with a crown width of about 5 meters. Young shoots of the variety are characterized by a purple-gray hue. The lacy pinnate leaves resemble a fern in shape.
Flowering occurs in late winter or early spring with bright yellow spherical inflorescences gathered in clusters. The variety prefers sunny locations and is used as an ornamental plant for mild climates or winter gardens.
The species is fast-growing and may exhibit invasive properties in a number of regions. When grown in protected cultivation, the plant can be affected by pests such as spider mites or mealybugs.
