Variety description

Tree or large shrub with a broadly columnar crown at a young age, which becomes dense, ovoid or rounded over the years. Leaves are five-lobed, dark green, have a bronze hue when unfolding, and turn yellow in autumn. Yellow-green flowers collected in panicle inflorescences bloom in May.
The variety is adapted to urban climate, resistant to wind, air pollution and road salt. It possesses high resistance to powdery mildew and gall mites. Frost resistance corresponds to zone 5a (from -26 to -29 °C) with potential tolerance down to -35 °C. The plant is undemanding to soils, including sandy, clay, calcareous and moist types, but does not tolerate severe soil compaction.
It tolerates pruning well, which makes it suitable for hedges and shaped structures. It is used in landscaping of alleys, squares, residential areas, small gardens, as well as for container growing and roof greening.
