The variety is the result of experimental breeding and is intended for the restoration of stands under conditions of mass infestation by the horse chestnut leaf miner. Its key feature is the disruption of the normal development of the pest larvae, which allows for a reduction in leaf blade damage by more than 50%.
The tree retains the morphological characteristics of the typical species Aesculus hippocastanum and the ability for regular fruiting. The property of resistance to the pest is not transmitted by seeds, so propagation of the variety is possible exclusively by vegetative means.
