Variety description

The variety is a decorative perennial herbaceous plant with tubular light-pink flowers gathered in capitulate inflorescences, and green leaves with serrated margins. The crop prefers fresh or moist soils and develops successfully in areas ranging from sunny to semi-shaded.
The plant contains the toxin tremetone, which is dangerous to livestock, and is classified as poisonous. In ornamental gardening, it is used as a perennial species not classified as an agricultural crop.
