Ageratina altissima is a perennial herbaceous plant with opposite leaves and corymbose inflorescences of small white flowers. Varieties of this species are distinguished by active growth through rhizomes and a tendency for self-seeding, as well as the ability to bloom from late summer until frosts.
The plant is toxic and causes "milk sickness" when eaten by livestock, which is why it is not used for fodder purposes. Detailed agronomic characteristics for the Moerlady variety are not provided in open publications, as it belongs to ornamental crops.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
