The hybrid Amfora F1 (also known as Amfora Gold F1) is a late-maturing onion variety. The growing period from emergence to harvest is 135–140 days. The bulbs have a round or round-oval shape, a weight of 160–190 g, golden-brown outer scales, and white flesh.
The variety is intended for direct sowing in open field at a recommended density of 0.8–1.0 million plants per hectare. The plant is characterized by stress tolerance and the ability to withstand drought conditions. The produce features high keeping quality and is intended for sale on the fresh market and long-term storage.
