Variety description

10 August 2026

Mid-season hybrid with a period from emergence to the formation of a marketable bulb of about 110 days. The plant is distinguished by vigorous development, light green leaves, and a strong root system. Intended for cultivation as an annual crop, suitable for mechanized harvesting.

The bulbs have a round shape, a diameter of 55–95 mm, and an average weight of 150–180 g. The surface is covered with dense golden-brown scales; the taste is characterized as semi-sharp. The variety shows resistance to Fusarium, root rot, and bolting, and is adapted to various soil types.

The produce has good transportability and is suitable for sale on the fresh market. When storage conditions are met, the onion retains its marketable qualities for up to 6–7 months. The recommended sowing density for obtaining standard bulbs is about 400 thousand plants per hectare.
