The variety belongs to the Rijnsburger type and is mid-season: the period from emergence to leaf lodging is 98–107 days. The bulbs have a round shape, the dry scales are yellow-brown, and the succulent scales are white.

The taste of the onion is pungent; the intended use is universal, including fresh consumption and processing. The crop is characterized by high yield and keeping quality, grown primarily by direct seeding or via transplants.
