The variety «Spider» is a hybrid of Allium schubertii × Allium atropurpureum. The plant reaches a height of about 60 cm, has purple flowers, and blooms in June – July.
The plant is used as an ornamental crop in borders, on lawns, in containers, and also for creating bouquets, as the inflorescences maintain freshness for a long time when cut.
