The cultivar «Bambino» belongs to the Alocasia × amazonica group. It is a compact plant that usually does not exceed 30–40 cm in height. A distinctive feature of the variety is its arrow-shaped narrow leaves of dark green color with prominent silvery-white veins and a purple shade on the underside.
The leaf edges of this variety are smoother compared to other representatives of the amazonica group. The plant is intended for cultivation in indoor conditions as an ornamental-foliage crop.
