The upright bushy plant reaches 90 cm in height with a bush width of up to 30–60 cm. Dark green lanceolate leaves complement funnel-shaped flowers of a rich purple or magenta color with characteristic dark streaks and a yellow throat, gathered in loose inflorescences.
The flowering period lasts from June to November. The plant prefers sunny locations or partial shade, protected from the wind, and requires moist, drained soil. It is used in landscape design for the background of borders and as a premium cut flower crop.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
