The Alstroemeria variety Parade is an object of breeding work and has featured in a number of research publications dedicated to plant development physiology. In particular, experiments were conducted on the influence of the temperature regime on the development of lateral rhizomes and shoot formation both in vitro and in production conditions.

In the course of physiological studies for this variety, an optimal soil temperature of 13 °C was determined, at which the most active formation of above-ground shoots in relation to the number of rhizomes was observed. It is known that the variety is capable of forming tuberous roots.
