The Tesamad variety is used as a reference sample in UPOV documentation for the assessment of distinctness, uniformity, and stability of Alstroemeria. The technical description is limited to the morphological parameters used for botanical comparison.

The outer tepals have a medium depth of incision. The flower color belongs to the dark purple category. Detailed agronomic characteristics of the plant are absent in open sources.
