The botanical classification of the variety is a subject of debate: it is attributed either to the species Amaranthus mantegazzianus or considered a spontaneous interspecific hybrid of Amaranthus mantegazzianus × Amaranthus caudatus. The plant forms light green or green leaves and a russet panicle with globular elements.

The average plant height is 100.6 cm, foliage density is about 25%. Seeds are white, matte, with a thousand kernel weight of about 0.76 g. The oil content in the seeds is 7.63%, the total tocopherol content is 2.49 mg%.

The yield of green mass is approximately 1542.8 g/m², and seed yield is 217.1 g/m². The variety is intended for ornamental floral use.
