Variety description

The variety is a slow-growing shrub 30–50 cm in height. It features leathery lanceolate leaves that have a characteristic steel blue-green shade on the upper side. Flowering occurs in May–June, accompanied by the appearance of small drooping bell-shaped flowers of a pink color, gathered into inflorescences.
The plant is intended for cultivation in heather gardens, rock gardens, and containers. It prefers consistently moist, well-drained soils with an acidic reaction and tolerates drought and alkaline environments poorly. The variety is characterized as winter-hardy and stable in culture.
