The variety "Regina" (bred by Anthura B.V.) is a compact pot crop with pure white flowers. The plant is suitable for cultivation in pots with a diameter of 12 to 17 cm and is characterized by good shelf life.
The variety "Regina" (bred by the University of Hawaii) was obtained as a result of crossing hybrids ARCS Hawaii and UH1552. The plant featured large purple tulip-shaped flowers; however, its field trials were discontinued in 2003 due to high susceptibility to bacterial blight.
