The Livium Ruby variety reaches a height of 30–60 cm. The plant's leaves have a heart-shaped or oval form and are distinguished by a dark green color, leathery texture, and gloss.

The inflorescence is characterized by a bright red, ruby-colored spathe with clearly visible light veins forming a reticulated pattern. The flower diameter is approximately 9.5–10 cm. The flowers possess high decorative value and are capable of remaining on the plant for up to two months.

The plant belongs to abundantly and continuously flowering crops; with proper care, flowering occurs almost year-round. The variety is considered relatively low-maintenance and is used primarily as a potted plant for interior decoration.
