The Salasaga variety is a representative of the species Anthurium andreanum. The plant is widely used as a cut flower crop and is frequently included in agronomic comparative trials to evaluate productivity and adaptation to cultivation under shade nets.

The color of the inflorescence is defined as pearl-pink. The vegetative parameters of the plant, such as height and leaf size, are subject to significant changes depending on agrotechnical conditions, including light intensity, substrate composition, and temperature regime.

The variety is commercially significant for cultivation in tropical climate conditions. Like other members of the species, it requires a shading regime of 20–30% during the summer period, maintenance of air humidity of at least 60%, and temperatures no higher than 30°C.
