Herkules is a cultivated form of the biennial plant Arctium lappa L. The variety is traditionally grown to obtain medicinal raw material, with the root of this form valued for the absence of significant lignification in the first year of vegetation.
The plant serves as an object for pharmaceutical research, in particular, in the context of studying the antitussive activity of the polysaccharides it contains. Specific agronomic data on the morphological parameters of the variety are not presented in open sources.
