The Bonmax 1954 variety is the result of intergeneric hybridization between representatives of the genera Argyranthemum and Glebionis. The plant was created using embryo rescue technology by crossing tetraploid or aneu-tetraploid forms of Argyranthemum with Glebionis species.
The plant retains the perennial and highly branched habit characteristic of the genus Argyranthemum, but is distinguished by an increased inflorescence size and improved tolerance to high temperatures during cultivation.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
