Variety description

The plant reaches 25–30 cm in height and width. The foliage is narrow, lanceolate, dark green, collected in basal rosettes. Strong upright peduncles bear large globular inflorescences of a deep pink or lilac shade.
The variety has a long flowering period from spring to autumn. It possesses improved disease resistance compared to wild species and high heat and drought tolerance. Winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zones 5a–9a withstanding temperatures down to -15°C.
Intended for decorative landscaping, container gardening, edging, alpine gardens, and rock gardens. Used as a cut flower crop and a plant that attracts pollinators.
