The variety was created based on the "Debreceni édesnemes" population to improve marketability and reduce disease susceptibility. It is intended for industrial processing, specifically for the production of grated horseradish in vinegar, and is oriented toward export markets.
The roots of the variety are characterized by an attractive appearance and a pleasant, non-bitter taste. The vitamin C content in the produce exceeds 100 mg per 100 g of weight. The main economic indicator when evaluating the yield is the mass of the marketable root (rhizome).
In comparative agronomic studies, it is noted that the variety is inferior to more modern introduced breeding lines in a number of disease resistance indicators and yield uniformity.
