The Galicjanka variety is a shrub 1.5 to 2.5 meters tall with an upright growth habit. The fruits are large, black with a waxy bloom, and ripen uniformly in late August to early September.
The plant possesses high resistance to diseases, pests, and extremely low temperatures down to -35...-40°C. Strong shoots and high productivity make the variety suitable for commercial plantations, and the fruits are used in industrial processing for the production of juices, jams, and tinctures.
