The variety was obtained as a result of hybridization of lemon wormwood (Artemisia balchanorum) and Crimean wormwood (Artemisia taurica) followed by individual selection. In cultivation, the variety is maintained by vegetative propagation.
The plant is a bush 47 cm high and 40–45 cm in diameter with paniculate inflorescences 25–30 cm long. Mass flowering occurs in the second ten-day period of October. The yield of aboveground mass is 85.7 c/ha.
The variety is winter hardy and belongs to the group of aromatic and medicinal plants intended for the production of essential oils.
