The plant forms compact bushes 41–46 cm in height with a comparable width. Foliage is dark green, deeply dissected, and the stems have a red tint. The variety is characterized as non-flowering or having no decorative value during flowering.
The variety is intended for use in landscape design, edging, flower beds, and container cultivation. The plant is non-aggressive, resistant to drought, as well as to damage by deer and rabbits. Winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zones 4–9.
