The Balfernarc variety is a compact plant with a height of 36–41 cm with elegant deeply dissected green leaves. Unlike the Artemisia gmelinii species, which reaches a height of one meter, this variety is used in ornamental gardening as an accent or groundcover plant.
The plant has high drought tolerance and winter hardiness in USDA zones 4a–9a. The variety practically does not flower, is resistant to diseases and pests, and is adapted for cultivation in full sun in containers and border plantings.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
