Variety description

The plant is a perennial herb of the Fabaceae family with a height of 15 to 40 cm. The stems are numerous, erect or ascending, reddish-villous; the leaves are grayish-green, and the flowers are yellow. The entire plant is covered with whitish or yellowish hairs, giving it a glaucous hue.
The variety possesses high winter hardiness and drought tolerance, and is suitable for mechanized harvesting. The growing season in the second year of life is about 110 days. The thousand kernel weight reaches 4.8 g.
The yield of dry raw material is about 37 c/ha with a total triterpene glycoside content of 2.4%. The herb of the plant is used in medicine for initial forms of hypertensive disease, providing a vasodilating, spasmolytic, cardiotonic, and sedative effect.
