The variety belongs to the hulled oat types. In scientific studies, it is distinguished by a high level of accumulation of biologically active substances, in particular phenolic compounds and antioxidants in the grain.

In agrotechnical and phytopathological studies, this variety is used as an object for evaluating the reaction to infection by pathogens of the genus Fusarium, in particular when studying the accumulation of mycotoxins, such as deoxynivalenol.
