The Chwat variety is a hulled form of Avena sativa. Its genealogy includes the lines Dukat, Flamingsnova, and Swan. The variety's grain is characterized by a specific biochemical composition: the beta-glucan content reaches 5.05%, and the proportion of palmitic acid is approximately 15.14%.

In scientific practice, the variety is actively used in anther culture experiments to obtain doubled haploids (DH-lines). The high regeneration potential of the Chwat variety allows it to be used in in vitro biotechnological research.
