The oat variety Eidskog shows high productivity under Norwegian conditions. According to the results of field trials in 2024, the variety demonstrates yield slightly higher than the Ridabu variety, both in Eastern and other regions of the country.

The variety is registered under the breeding designation GN13034. It is included in the Norwegian national list of plant varieties and is undergoing the assessment procedure for agricultural value accepted for cereal crops in Norway.
