The variety is used as a reference sample in UPOV technical protocols when describing the morphological traits of the glume, where the absence or very weak expression of wax coating is noted.

In scientific research, the variety was considered in the context of studying resistance to crown rust and powdery mildew, as well as in variety testing programs to assess adaptability in regions with autumn sowing.
