Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety was bred by complex hybridization involving Soroka, Kinaat, and Gorizont varieties, followed by individual selection. The vegetation period is from 79 to 95 days. The plant is medium-height, with a stalk height greater than that of the Skakun variety.

The variety is resistant to grain shattering; lodging resistance is rated as above average. Susceptibility to loose smut, crown rust, and bacterial blight is noted.

The grain of the variety is large. The test weight is 498–566 g/l, protein content is in the range of 9.7–12.4%, and hull content is 24.0–30.0%. In addition to grain use, the variety is suitable for cultivation for green mass in mixed crops with legumes.
