The variety belongs to hulless oat types, which results in the absence of a hard husk on the grain and simplifies its further processing. In scientific literature, the variety is often mentioned as an object for genetic research and comparative genotype trials.

Morphologically, the variety is described as small-grained. A distinctive feature of the caryopses is the presence of trichomes—small hairs that can remain on the surface even after the threshing process is completed.

The variety is being studied as a substrate for examining biochemical changes in starch and protein composition during technological processing, such as germination or fermentation, and is also used in breeding to create new hulless oat varieties.
