The variety is intended for food and feed use. In scientific publications, it frequently appears in the context of grain quality analysis, including the assessment of antioxidant activity and phenolic compound content.

During trials in Estonia, the variety showed varying degrees of crown rust infection depending on weather conditions. In dry years, the prevalence of rust and leaf spot was assessed as low or moderate.

The variety was also examined in studies dedicated to the grain gluten content; however, safety indicators for a gluten-free diet depend primarily on growing conditions and the presence of admixtures from other crops.
