An early to medium-early maturing variety obtained by crossing the Wistar and Wiscount varieties. The plants possess dynamic growth and a high tillering capacity. The yellow-colored grain has a thousand kernel weight of 25–30 g, an average bulk density of 54 kg/hl, and a low husk content.
The variety is characterized by good resistance to lodging, powdery mildew, and rust, with medium resistance to Fusarium snow mold. It can be cultivated on medium and light soils, while not tolerating heavy, waterlogged soils. Sowing dates coincide with the sowing period for winter wheat.
In regions with prolonged snow cover, seed treatment is necessary. Despite high winter hardiness among winter oat forms, the variety is recommended for cultivation in warmer regions, as it is inferior in winter hardiness to winter wheat and barley.
