The Radzikus variety belongs to the winter oat form. Its development was part of breeding activities aimed at creating winter crops capable of starting vegetation earlier and utilizing spring soil moisture reserves more effectively.
During trials, the variety demonstrated satisfactory results, although its winter hardiness was rated lower compared to some other winter forms, such as the Beskid variety. Today, in professional publications, Radzikus is more often referred to as an experimental form or one that is historically significant for the breeding process.
