THIERRY MOMONT
10 August 2026
The oat variety Samantra is characterized by insufficient stem resistance, which is manifested in its tendency towards lodging. Studies have shown that the use of growth regulators based on chlormequat chloride contributes to reducing stem length and preventing lodging.
The application of these agents in experiments resulted in an increase in grain yield of the Samantra variety by 7–9.5%. In available materials, detailed information on the morphological characteristics and breeding background of the plant is absent.
