Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety was obtained as a result of a cross that used the Dutch variety Condor. Due to the qualitative characteristics of the grain, in particular its low husk content, it became a sought-after raw material in the food industry.

In terms of maturity group, the variety is earlier than the Selma variety. It possesses a strong stem resistant to lodging. Although in terms of total yield the variety was inferior to some analogs, it maintained its value due to high grain quality and was used by breeders to develop new varieties.
