The oat variety WPB Valdez participated in multi-year variety trials, the results of which were used to analyze the level of Fusarium fungal infection and subsequent accumulation of HT-2 and T-2 mycotoxins in the grain.
Within the framework of the conducted studies, the plant height of the WPB Valdez variety was 99% of the height of control samples. At present, the variety has the status of being excluded from certain national variety registers.
The variety is listed in the national registry — its seeds are authorized for sale in this country.
