The variety was derived from wild populations to obtain medicinal raw materials used in the production of immunomodulatory drugs. The plant is a perennial with a growth cycle of three years until harvest.
Due to low seed germination, the variety is propagated using the in vitro meristem cloning method. The use of pesticides is excluded during cultivation, and crop maintenance is carried out primarily by hand.
Breeding of the variety was aimed at obtaining genetically uniform material with high quality characteristics and specific resistance to powdery mildew.
