The plant has a compact bush with abundant branching and trailing shoots. The leaves have an oblong-lanceolate shape, the flowers are large, solitary, and bright red in color.
The variety demonstrates resistance to wind and rain when grown in open ground, and immunity to powdery mildew has been noted. It is used as a bedding plant and for hanging baskets.
