The leaves of the variety have a characteristic dark color, close to black, with splashes of red and silver colors. The plant forms a compact bush with a height and width of 15 to 30 cm.

The crop is a perennial ornamental foliage plant. The variety is sensitive to stagnant moisture in the soil, which can lead to root rot, and also requires protection from moisture on the leaves to prevent fungal diseases and bacterial leaf spot.

The plant is intended for cultivation in indoor conditions or in garden locations protected from direct sunlight in a suitable climate.
