The variety is a hybrid of Begonia boliviensis and Begonia x tuberhybrida. The genetics of the Bolivian begonia determine the plant's characteristic habit, which distinguishes it from classic tuberous begonias.

The plant possesses high growth vigor. The bush form allows the variety to be used in container gardening, in particular, for cultivation on balconies and terraces in hanging baskets or pots.
